I picked this little treasure up on ebay a few weeks ago. It is a fairly rare tile by D&M. The D&M scenic tiles are hard to come by and I think that this particular tile is very hard to find. The colors are nice and the scene itself is quite unusual for the era. (1928-1939) |
On Monday I traveled to Visalia and found these little treasures:
From left to right: Bauer grill plate, Bauer shakers, unknown maker cocoa cup in orange, orange bean pot, Pacific demi cup and saucer in Apache red, and a very cool Peters & Reed hanging basket in the arts&crafts style. |
Here is a couple of drink stands with 8" D&M tiles set into them. I purchased the tiles and stands off ebay and put them together. Drink stands are nice because they do not take up a lot of space, and they are quite usable!
